Dear Editor,
I just have to write and tell you about the paper I received 10/15/99. My first thought was, “Why a paper today? I already got one this week,” when I noticed it was February 11, 1999.
I was more puzzled than ever. After I got to reading it, I realized it really was printed last February and I just now received it. Now the big question remains, where has it been laying all this time? If only that paper could talk.
There was a time I was having problems in getting my paper, so this must be one of those I didn’t get.
If you had sent it Pony Express it shouldn’t have taken eight months to get here, right?
There are four other ladies that read The Kalona News after I am finished and non of them are from Iowa except Mary Yutzy. They really enjoy Mary Marek’s page and Mark’s articles.
So keep up the good works.
Sincerely,
Fannie Mast
