On April 14, Mitch Swinton, Lil Racer Car Club director, and race car driver Frank Mason of Cedar Rapids presented to the fourth-grade students at Lone Tree Elementary. The presentation included how math impacts racing and the building of a race car. The students were also informed that racing can be a hobby as well as a career but takes a lot of money to be successful. The students really enjoyed learning math through this presentation.
