LONE TREE
Lone Tree’s wellness center is hosting its 4th “Family Fright Night” on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 5-8 p.m.
This year’s theme is “A walk with the witches.” Trick-or-treaters will start their frightful night at Julie’s Flowers where they’ll receive a witch’s hat to celebrate in style.
“We are excited to welcome Julies' Flowers to our event. This is our fourth year of hosting this event, and we are so blessed that each year our community rallies around it and helps us expand, whether it's participating in our ever-growing Trunk-or-Treat or other groups/businesses opening up to support Family Fright Night,” Carmen Donovan said. “Last year, the Historical Society opened their doors for a spooky adventure and this year we add Julie's to the mix.”
The next stop for the trick-or-treaters will be down the road at the Historical Society, where they can be “bewitched by a peek into the past,” which will be a “haunted history lesson,” Donovan said.
Finally, they’ll finish their night with games, snacks and more witch-themed fun at the town’s Wellness Center, located at 209 Devoe St.
Family Fright Night will award the top three best decorated cars, a function of the Trunk-or-Treat portion of the event, which should line the road to the Wellness Center.
Contact Joe Donovan, the Wellness Center Director, to reserve a spot. His email is jdonovan@lonetreecsd.org
“We look forward to seeing all the little witches, ghosts and goblins at Family Fright Night,” Carmen Donovan concluded.
