The Board of Directors of the Lone Tree Community School District regular meeting was called to order by President Sladek at 6:00 p.m., December 18, 2024, in the Lone Tree School Library.

PRINCIPAL REPORTS
Principal Jacque submitted information on the book fair survey and the December 9th teacher in-service. Principal Koshatka reported on career-connected learning, career exploration, and work-based learning.
CONSENT AGENDA
The following consent items: minutes of the November 19, 2024 Regular Board Meeting, and December 4, 2024 Board Workshop and Closed Session; November finance report; donations and grants of: All-American Publishing $90 to the FFA program, Shalla Family $40 to the wrestling program to purchase concession stand supplies, and Ronan Family $100 to the wrestling program to purchase concession stand supplies; December payment of bills; open enrollment application from Brianna Voorhees; recommendations of hire for Jeremy Claussen (Head Golf Coach), Chad Shield (HS Head Girls Track Coach), Ashley Zaruba (HS Assistant Track Coach), Jarod Kunc (MS Head Girls Track Coach), Owen Donovan (MS Head Boys Track Coach), Jacob Craven (HS Head Baseball Coach), Michael Eden (HS Assistant Baseball Coach), Jacob Hoyle (MS Head Baseball Coach), Jovonte Squiers (HS Head Softball Coach), Abby Buckman (HS Assistant Softball Coach), Jonathan Chaney (MS Head Softball Coach), and Kale Render (MS Boys Basketball Coach); resignations for Brenda Deal (MS/HS School Counselor) and Tom Dickey (MS Boys Basketball Coach)

Upon motion by Viers, seconded by Ogren, it was
RESOLVED: to approve the SBRC application for Modified Supplemental Amount for EL Instruction Beyond 5 years in the amount of $3,286.92 for the 2024-2025 school year

SBRC MODIFIED SUPPLEMENTAL AMOUNT: OPEN ENROLL OUT
Upon motion by Viers, seconded by Eden, it was
RESOLVED: to approve the SBRC application for Modified Supplemental Amount for Open Enroll Out in the amount of $66,900.16 for the 2024-2025 school year

5-YEAR PROJECTIONS (CFPM)
The Board continued their discussions from the December 4 workshop on the District’s 5-Year Projections. Discussion was held on student enrollment, certified tax rate, District financial health, and planned expenditures.
SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT
Supt. Hotz reported on positive culture activities in the District, training on accounting software, and the December 9th teacher in-service day.
FUTURE AGENDA TOPICS
Reminder that January 8th will be the Board Workshop and January 22nd will be the regular Board meeting.
