The Board of Directors of the Lone Tree Community School District regular meeting was called to order by Vice President Ogren at 6:34 p.m., September 18, 2024, in the Lone Tree School Library.

PRINCIPAL REPORTS
Principal Koshatka reported on the Middle School/High School literacy strategy and curriculum overview/cycle. Principal Jacque reported on the Elementary Pick A Better Snack Program with ISU Extension and FAST screening data.
CONSENT AGENDA
The following consent items: minutes of the August 15, 2024 Board Retreat, August 21, 2024 Regular Board Meeting, and September 4, 2024 Board Workshop; August finance report; September payment of bills; open enrollment applications from Dahlia Landeros, Deane Santos Adame, and Marissa Todora; recommendations of hire for Tom Dickey (MS Girls Basketball Coach), Jarod Kunc (MS Girls Basketball Volunteer Coach), and Jonathan Chaney (Cross Country Volunteer Coach)

BUS ROUTE DRIVER – ADDITIONAL PAY
Discussion held on compensating current contracted route drivers an afternoon route differential due to consolidation of three afternoon routes to two until a third driver is hired.

RESOLVED: to approve bus route driver additional pay of $10.26/day retroactive to the first day of school and ceasing when the current PM route driver opening is filled

RESOLVED: to approve the Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Shive-Hattery as presented

SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT
Supt. Hotz reported on FY2024 State reports, AEA services, multiple desk audits, efforts to reduce speed of traffic, nutrition administrative review, and teacher in-service preparations.
FUTURE AGENDA TOPICS
Discussion held on future agenda topics of SWOT analysis, Shive-Hattery HVAC study, 2025 summer projects, SIAC report, District goals, early graduation requests, curriculum overview, annual meeting, and update on professional development Mondays.
