The Board of Directors of the Lone Tree Community School District regular meeting was called to order by President Sladek at 6:00 p.m., February 19, 2025, in the Library.
PRESENT: Hotz, Sladek, Viers, Ogren-remote

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Upon motion by Viers, seconded by M. Hotz, it was
RESOLVED: to approve the February 19, 2025 regular meeting agenda amending the agenda moving the District Developed Service Delivery Plan, item 9A, to after the public comment.
ALL AYE: Motion Carried 4-0
PUBLIC COMMENT
None
DISTRICT DEVELOPED SERVICE DELIVERY PLAN
Tina Hoffman and Amy Shalla presented the Board with the 2020-2025 District Developed Service Plan draft. The board will need to hold a public hearing to approve this plan.
PRINCIPALS REPORT
Secondary Principal Koshatka discussed; building goals-MAP data, student scheduling through Powerschool, Xello.
Elementary Principal Jacque discussed; social studies pacing guide created by the teachers, carnival planning, and the U Fly Program.
CONSENT AGENDA
The following consent items: minutes of the January 22, 2025 Regular Board Meeting & February 12, 2025 Board Workshop; donations and grants of: Mobile TV Group $1500 divided evenly between band, choir, drama; February payment of bills; open enrollment applications from Jessica Forbes, Hailey Walker, Rebecca Checketts; recommendations of hire for Trevor McFarland (HS Assistant Baseball Coach), Jonathan Chaney (Custodian), Dwight Manning (Sub Bus Driver); resignations for Mick Dickinson (MSHS Student Council), Leah Cilek (Preschool Teacher)

RESOLVED: to approve the consent agenda pulling the finance report for further discussion.

RESOLVED: to approve setting the public hearings for the Certified Budget with hearing #1 on April 2nd at 6:00p and hearing #2 on April 16th at 6:00p, both in the Library

RESOLVED: to approve setting a public hearing for a resolution to consider continued participation in the instructional support program on March 19th at 6:00p in the Library

BUDGET ADJUSTMENT (GUARANTEE) RESOLUTION

RESOLVED: to approve to levy property taxes for fiscal year 2025-2026 for the regular program budget adjustment as allowed under section 257.14, Code of Iowa

SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT
Supt. Hotz discussed climate and culture; Better Together award, school finance; training with software unlimited; PD with coaching and staff; upcoming public hearings.

Discussion held on future agenda topics involving; greenhouse, wrestling room, updated report on cell phone use in the school
Viers excused himself from the meeting at 7:21 p.m.
