Members of the Mid-Prairie High School band and choir will perform their Christmas concert at the school Monday, December 13 , at 7:30 p.m. The program opens with the Jazz Band playing Off the Back Burner, a swing piece, followed by a jazz version of White Christmas featuring vocalist Lacey Curtis.
The choir will perform the following selections:
Hallelujah Chorus, Gloria, Come Emmanuel, A La Na Nite, Candlelight Carol and Carol of the Bells.
The Chamber Choir also will perform and the concert concludes with the Concert Band performing Symphonic Overtures, several selections from the Nutcracker Suite and C’est Noel.
Admission is $l for adults. Students are admitted free.
