On Sunday, April 10, Peter LeSage of the Mid-Prairie Home School Assistance Program participated in the “Back To Coe Again” Festival of Bands 2022 senior honor band. This years’ band was guest conducted by the internationally known composer/conductor James Swearingen.
The Program was as follows: “Emperata Overture” by Claude T. Smith, “Red River Station” by Jeremy Bell, “The Light Eternal” by James Swearingen, “Dawn Of A New Day” by James Swearingen.
“Once again, it has been a joy to have the privilege of participating in honor band, and to be able to perform with such phenomenal musicians and such great directors,” LeSage said. “There is not a much more rewarding experience than creating beautiful music with a band, and I look forward to it every year. I hope to return to Coe College honor band in future years, and it is an experience that I hope to never forget.”
