The newest addition to the Kalona Chiropractic office feels she can offer a different line of services and “help my clients help themselves.”
Kristen Bishop, a licensed massage therapist, has joined Dr. Jamey Errthum’s staff at Kalona Chiropractic. She offers Swedish massage, reflexology, sports massage, polarity therapy, myofascial release, pregnancy massage, infant massage and ear candling.
“Pregnancy and sports massage are some things I can offer that other massage therapists might not be able to do,” Bishop said. “Ear candling is also something different as it helps extrude excess wax from the ear to prevent infection.
“I really want to be able to help my clients help themselves,” she added. “I care about my clients as individuals.”
Bishop is a February 1999 graduate of Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Anamosa. She is state and nationally certified.
Bishop is available for massage therapy treatments every day but Sunday and Monday. Interested individuals can call 319-656-2085 to make an appointment.
