The annual Memorial Day services, arranged by Richmond AMVETS Post 107, start at 10:15 a.m., Monday, May 31, in the Sharon Hill Cemetery. Speaker for the brief program is the Rev. Mike Orthel, pastor, Kalona United Methodist Church.

Music will be provided by members of the Mid-Prairie Marching Band, and military rites will be performed by members of Post 107.

Services in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery are at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Swanson, pastor, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, providing the address. The final observance will follow in the Richmond Public Cemetery.

In case of inclement weather, the Richmond services will be held in the AMVETS Hall in Richmond.

Band members will leave the middle school at 8 a.m. and the high school at 8:15 a.m. (by bus) and perform at the Wellman Public Cemetery at 8:30 a.m.
