NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Mid-Prairie Wrestling Facility

To Whom It May Concern:
You are hereby notified that on April 14, 2025, at 6:45 PM, Central Time, in the Mid-Prairie Community School District Board Room at 1636 Highway 22 E, Wellman, IA 52356-9250, there will be a public hearing on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and the estimated total cost of construction of the proposed improvements described as the MID-PRAIRIE WRESTLING FACILITY. Said work is to be located at 1634 Highway 22 E, Wellman, Iowa 52356. The project includes a freestanding athletic facility with approximately 12,960 square feet to be constructed between the multipurpose facility and the press box. The upper level consists of approximately 10,440 square feet and includes a wrestling room sized for three 38’x38’ mats, a weight room, multiple restrooms, changing areas, and showers. The lower level consists of approximately 2,520 square feet and includes space for concessions, single-use restroom, women’s restroom, men’s restroom, and storage space. Scope also includes additional sidewalks and stoops around the building and additional pavement between the building and the press box. Any persons interested may appear and file written and/or oral objections to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, or estimated cost of such improvement.
Proposed drawings, specifications, and form of contract may be examined at the District Central Administrative Office beginning on March 12, 2025, at 1636 Highway 22 E, Wellman, IA 523569250, from 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
