Twenty members of the Mid-Prairie FFA attended the Ignite, Amplify and Transform Conferences in Ankeny at the FFA Enrichment Center on Saturday, Nov. 11.

The Ignite Conference focused on connecting students to opportunities through FFA. Rylee Cady, Ellie Callahan, Averi Janecek, Madelyn Sieren, Harlee West and Jason Yoder attended the Ignite conference. Their programming included information on careers in agriculture, FFA opportunities, diversity among members and servant leadership and service planning.

Tate Bombei, Quinn Callahan, Dylan Humphrey, Stella Janecek, Sydney Knebel, Brynn Northup, Caitlynn Peters, Quinton Smith, Elijah Statler and Allie Whetstine attended the Amplify conference. The Amplify conference focused on establishing purpose in daily lives, how to identify their talents, how to live with purpose, and determining how to live out a purpose plan.

Blake Peck, Gabi Robertson, Olivia Utzinger and Madison Witthoft participated in the Transform conference for seniors. This conference focused on chapter leadership development and how to pay it forward to local FFA chapters and create personal plans after high school. This conference included programming on how to leave a legacy, recognizing the importance of diversity and inclusion, and identifying opportunities of how to be involved with FFA after high school.

These conferences were presented by present and past Iowa FFA Officers and lead facilitator Randy Dreher.
