On March 4, six members of the Mid-Prairie FFA chapter traveled to Muscatine High School to participate in the SE District Career Development Events and Convention.
Brynn Younge presented her public speech titled, “Where’s the Beef?” She received a gold and is the alternate to state competition.
Gabi Robertson prepared the Reporter’s Scrapbook to serve as a permanent record of the chapter’s history. The scrapbook received a 2nd place gold rating and will be advancing to state competition.
Elliott Debler and Greta Sieren prepared the Secretary’s Book with the minutes of the past meetings and chapter attendance. The book received a gold rating and is the alternate to state competition.
Allie Whetstine and Brock Fisher took the Greenhand Test. Allie received a gold and Brock received a silver.
Members who attended serving as chapter voting delegates included Brynn Northup and Stella Janecek.
Marissa Cline completed her year of service as the SE FFA District Secretary for 2022-2023.
Six members will receive their Iowa FFA Degrees at the State Convention in April: Alexa Huber, Blake Peck, Payton Peck, Gabi Robertson, Jacey Sisson and Kelyn Yoder.
