The Mid-Prairie sophomore volleyball team finished the 1999 season with a 9-7-1 record, highlighted by a first place finish at the Hawk Tournament and a second at the Washington Tournament.
Team leaders were Nicole Bontrager who served 130-for-141 for a serve percentage of 92 percent; Stephanie Beeler who served 39 aces, Julie Schweinfurth with 52 kills, and Amber Ihrig who recorded four solo blocks.
Kally Boemer was awarded the Most Improved Player award for the team while Andi Klosterman received the Spark Plug award. Candace Richardson and Jenni Keifer were named “Super Subs” of the team while Keifer also received the Hustle Award. Stephanie Beeler was the recipient of the Practice Award.
