The Kalona booth at the Iowa State Fair (August 12-22) needs 15 workers and several quilters.
Dates and shifts are Thursday, August 12, one person, morning shift; Friday, August 13, two people, morning shift, two people, afternoon shift; Sunday, August 15, two people, afternoon shift and Sunday, August 22, four people, morning shift and four people, afternoon shift.
Discounted admission tickets will be available for the workers at the Kalona Chamber of Commerce office prior to the fair’s opening. The Kalona booth is in the Varied Industries Building at the fair.
If interested in volunteering, call Jan Peterseim, 656-3322, to make arrangements.
