Dr. Mark Giovanelli joins the medical staff at Mercy-Kalona Family Practice Clinic January 26. A second physician, Dr. Mary Laughlin, will join the Clinic in August.
Dr. Giovanelli received his medical education from Davenport Osteopathic sHospital and is board certified in family practice. Dr. Laughlin was educated at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and also is board certified in family practice.
Dr. Nancy Short and LaVerta Eberly, FNP, also practice at Mercy-Kalona Clinic, 503 3rd St.
The Clinic is affiliated with Mercy service Iowa City, Inc. and is one of nine clinics operated by the Services. The others are in Iowa City, Coralville, Williamsburg, North English, Solon, West Branch, Tipton, and Columbus Junction.
