Everyone likes to know the history behind a business or idea. Everyone who owns a business likes to tell about it… the conception, progress and future plans. Thus, the new section to be published in late February in The Kalona News.
The Progress Edition, though new for the Kalona News staff and community, has proved to be very popular in papers elsewhere. We think it will be well received here, too.
The concept is very simple.
When advertisers buy an ad, they get an article about their business the same size as the ad, twice the coverage as in a normal section.
Studies have shown this section is read from cover to cover and enjoys a very long shelf life. No doubt our readers will also send it to relatives, friends and former residents of Kalona for their perusal.
It’s a wonderful way for business owners to tell the who, why, what, when, where and how of what made them take the course they did.
The Progress Edition is the first of several new sections to be published by The Kalona News this year.
For more information and to reserve ad space, please call Gaye or Ron at The Kalona News at 319-656-2273. Don’t miss out on being in one of the best sections of 2000.
