The Johnson County Cattlemen and Cattlewomen Associations announced that each are awarding $500 scholarship to qualified students.
To be eligible, students must be high school seniors or a college freshmen, have an interest in ag-related careers and be in families who are members of the Johnson County Cattlemen’s Association.
Application are due February 11 and are available by contacting Norman Ziskovsky at 1408 H Rd. NW, Swisher, Iowa 52338 or at 319-857-4506. Winners will be announced at the Cattlemen’s annual Beef Banquet March 1 in the Westfield Inn, Coralville.
Queen and princess contestants are also sought. Contestants must be a junior or senior in high school or college freshman and should be interested in an ag-related career.
