A number of Kalona businesses will be open Labor Day, September 6. They are Ellen’s Sewing Center, The Bird’s Nest, Stitch ‘N Sew Cottage, Jade’s Antiques, Yotty’s Ice Cream Shop (11 a.m.-8 p.m.), JW’s Foods, (open 7 a.m.- 10 p.m.), Rediger’s Convenience Store and Kalona Kountry Kreations.
In addition, the Kalona Historical Village will be open; however, the By-Ways Tours will not be operating.
Closed
Those closed for the holiday are Willow Creek Collectibles, Kalona Antique Company, Kalona Bakery, Yoder’s Antiques, Woodin Wheel Antiques & Gifts, Yotty’s, Inc., Village Shoppe, Reifs, lst Class Apparel, foods Naturally, Gambles, Stitches Galore, Kalonial Townhouse, The Parlor, Kalona Furniture, Kalona Locker, Columns and Chocolate and Main St. Antiques.
The Kalona Chamber of Commerce office will not be open.
