Hillcrest freshman Diego Ramos scored two goals in his first varsity game on Tuesday in Tipton.
His second goal tied the game 3-3 with 7:30 left, but the Tigers scored the game winner two minutes later to escape with a 4-3 win.
Tipton led 1-0 at halftime. Ramos tied the game at 1-1 about five minutes into the second half, but Tipton answered with two quick goals to take a 3-1 lead.
Micah Gerber drew a foul in the box with about 15 minutes left in the game. Raven senior Jorge Canchola buried the penalty kick in the net to pull the Ravens within a goal.
Hillcrest (0-1) travels to Highland (0-2) on Thursday.
