Members of the Mid-Prairie Post-Prom Party Committee met March 15 to discuss funds, the importance of collecting remaining donations, a design for the T-shirt, preparation of the video, food ideas and a set-up time at Planet X the day of the prom.
Students and their dates will be asked to pay a $10 fee by April 15. Payment may be sent to Jayne Hochstedler, 4948 Cosgrove Road, SW, Kalona, Iowa 52247 or to the Mid-Prairie High School office. The fee covers admission to Planet X and the T-shirt. To receive the T-shirt, the fee must be paid by April 15.
Videos of the Grand March at the prom, the prom and the post-prom party will be available for $15. To reserve a copy, send payment, by April 25, to Hope Gingerich, video chairman, 1024 120th St., Wellman, Iowa 52356.
Anyone who is unable to assist with planning and set-up for the party, but would like to help, may make a monetary donation or donate food items. Contact Kim Juilfs, 646-6706, or Phyllis Casper, 656-5215, co-chairmen, to make arrangements.
The committee’s next meeting is Monday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in the high school.
