Friday, May 14, Harriet Beck McKenzie, right, presented an antique quilt to Marilyn Woodin of the Woodin Wheel Antiques as a gift to the Kalona Historical Village. The quilt was given to Mrs. McKenzie by her mother, Mrs. H.V. (Ethel) Beck. The original owner was either Mrs. Willis (Anna) Snair or Mrs. George (Minnie) Beck, Mrs. McKenzie’s grandmothers. Woodin said the fabric in the quilt dated to the late 1800s.
