Wilton, which began its season with a close 19-14 victory over Mid-Prairie, is the only River Valley Conference school heading to the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls this week for the IAHSAA football state semifinals.

The Beavers, who defeated Iowa City Regina Catholic in the 1A quarterfinals last Friday, will face Grundy Center in the 1A semifinals at 10 a.m. Friday at the UNI-Dome.

The Golden Hawks, who won seven straight games after an 0-3 start, fell just one win short of reaching the Dome. Mid-Prairie was ranked No. 9 in 2A, but lost in the quarterfinals to No. 2-ranked and unbeaten PCM last Friday.
