The last date to register to vote for the school board elections is Friday, September 3. Elections statewide are Tuesday, September 14.
Iowans already registered at their current addresses do not need to re-register to vote in the school district elections.
A request for an absentee ballot must be submitted in writing to the county auditor. Absentee voting began as soon as ballots were ready after the August 5 candidate filing deadline.
