SEISC coaches and volleyball teams support Lisa Brinkmeyer

Posted

Coaches and volleyball families from the Southeast Iowa Super Conference are coming together to support assistant director of the IGHSAU Lisa Brinkmeyer, who was diagnosed with a form of brain cancer last spring.

Highland, Hillcrest and Lone Tree fans will be able to purchase t-shirts in their school colors to support Lisa during their regular season conference games on September 13.

Lisa oversees Volleyball, Golf, and Tennis and is also a member of the IGHSAU Hall of Fame. She was a standout basketball player at Hubbard-Radcliffe High School and Drake University. She is the definition of an “Iowa Girl.”

Lisa is currently going through a treatment plan and is definitely a fighter. Brinkmeyer has brought Iowa High School volleyball to the next level and fully supports the “Iowa Girl.” Right now, Lisa is fighting the toughest fight of her life, in her journey with brain cancer.
