Miss Flanagan was born December 9, 1984 in Iowa City, the daughter of Douglas and Mary (Lilley) Flanagan.
Sharon Ellen Flanagan, 15, of Iowa City, died Wednesday, December 15, 1999, in Frytown of injuries received in a car accident.
Funeral services were Saturday, December 8, in Bethany Baptist Church, Iowa City, with the Reverend Jarol Duerksen officiating.
Miss Flanagan was born December 9, 1984 in Iowa City, the daughter of Douglas and Mary (Lilley) Flanagan.
She attended Iowa Mennonite School where she was a member of the junior varsity basketball team and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Douglas and Mary Flanagan; three brothers, Ken Flanagan, Brian Flanagan and Gregory Flanagan, all of Iowa City; maternal grandmother, Ruth Lilley of Lansing, Michigan; and paternal grandmother, Margaret Flanagan of Arlington, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers.
Memorials may be made to the Sharon Flanagan Memorial Fund.
