In its meeting Tuesday, December 13, the Washington County Board of Supervisors approved a change of places sought by two Washington Township trustees. Tom Marie was appointed the township clerk, replacing Bob Kennedy, who returned to being a township trustee.
Noting it had been discussed December 8, the board approved Christopher Gerling as ambulance services paramedic, level 2. He formerly was field supervisor, level 1. The change is primarily a pay rate change from $30.37 to $25.76 hourly.
In other business, the board acknowledged the planned purchase of two pickup trucks for the Secondary Roads department for $47,436 and $26,907 respectively, replacing two older (2013) vehicles. County Engineer Jacob Thorius said it was for the next fiscal year, but said to order ahead.
