Steve Hollan, a 4th grade teacher at Wellman Elementary School, received a $750 grant to help purchase a SMART Board.
The 4x3 foot board, when connected to a computer, allows the computer screen to be viewed by an entire class. Simply touching the board runs the computer software.
The school needs to raise $1,750 to match the grant.
