The newly-formed Washington Township Partners plans a get-acquainted event for Tuesday, August 17, starting at 5:30 p.m. featuring a potluck in a Kalona City Park shelter and a free swim in the municipal pool.
The group consists of parents and teachers at the school. Those attending should take a dish to share and table service. Beverages will be provided.
Parents and students may visit the school between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Monday, August 23. School supplies may be purchased at this time.
