Mediacom, LLC announced it has signed a definitive agreement to purchase the cable television systems owned by Triax Midwest Associates, L.P. based in Waseca, Minnesota. When the sale is completed, as well as another acquisition, Mediacom will serve more than 725,000 cable televisions and Internet customers in 20 states.
Locally, customers should continue to contact Triax Cablevision for customer service at 1-800-332-0245 and service repair at 1-800-422-1473.
Closing of the sale is not expected until the last quarter of this year.
