Lisa Miller Allen and Teresa Brenneman are coordinating the Mitten Tree at the Wellman Telephone Office. They are accepting mittens, coats, scarfs, and other winter clothing items for children. Items are being accepted until Dec. 31 and can be dropped off any weekday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All items will be taken to the Mid-Prairie West Elementary school for distribution the first week of January.
