Velma M. Reber, 83, of Iowa City, formerly of Arvada, Colorado, died Friday, December 24, 1999, in Greenwood Manor, Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.
A private family service was held Monday, December 27, with burial in the South Sharon (Grout) Cemetery, rural Riverside.
Born January 18, 1916, in Sharon Center, she was the daughter of Harrison and Nellie Frank. She attended Sharon Center High School and later married Walter Reber.
Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Harlan Stubbs, Kalona, and one sister-in-law, Ruth Frank of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter, October 17, 1993, and two brothers, Ray Frank and Russell Frank.
