Born November 28, 1914, in Kalona, she was the daughter of Charles and Kate (Nayadley) Louck. She attended Maple Grove School in rural Kalona and graduated from Kalona High School.
Veronica E. Durst, 85, of Washington died Sunday, January 16, 2000, in Washington County Hospital following a short illness.
Services were Tuesday, January 18, in Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona, with the Reverend Ron McMenamin officiating. Burial was in Sharon Hill Cemetery, Kalona.
Born November 28, 1914, in Kalona, she was the daughter of Charles and Kate (Nayadley) Louck. She attended Maple Grove School in rural Kalona and graduated from Kalona High School.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd Durst January 31, 1941, in Kahoka, Missouri.
Survivors include one sister, Dessel Burkett of Iowa City, one niece and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1965 and one sister.
A general memorial fund has been established.
Peterseim Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
