The annual Washington County Fair gets underway Tuesday, at 7 p.m., with the Draft Horse Pulling Contest in the grandstand and the Maras Sisters & Jacob performing in the Community Center at the fairgrounds.
Full day programs start Wednesday, July 21 and continue through Saturday, July 24.
The Washington County Pee Wee Cutie Contest for 2-5 and 6-8 year olds is 5:30 p.m. July 21 at the grandstand and the State Fair Talent Search follows at 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 22, features Youth Fun Day at 9:30 a.m. and the sanctioned tractor and truck pull at 6:30 p.m. The Washington County queen contest is at 7 p.m. in the Community Center.
The evening event for July 23 is the Swinging C Rodeo.
The Saturday, July 24, program starts with the livestock sale at 9:15 a.m. and continued to 6 p.m. when the demolition derby opens.
In addition to exhibits, demonstrations and entertainment, there will be a midway with numerous rides and a model railroad display at the North end of the fairgrounds.
Children younger than 12 are admitted without charge. Tickets are $4 per day and a season ticket is $10.
