Rex and Virginia Allensworth of Kalona attended the WASTE three-day reunion over the July 4th weekend. The event was held at the home of John and Jaci Allensworth on Lake of Egypt near Marion, Illinois.
WASTE stands for Walkers, Allensworths, Spreackers, Thorntons and Everyone else. The families are the descendants of Winn and Ethel Allensworth.
Family members from Hawaii, California, Colorado, South Dakota, Texas, Iowa, Florida and Illinois attended.
It was voted that the next reunion will be in the year 2001.
