The city will shut off water starting between 7 and 8 a.m. Thursday, November 4, on part of A Ave. and Highway 1. The move will permit installation of a new water line for the major addition at Kalona Plastics.
City officials estimate that the shut-off will be at least four hours. It could be longer, if any problems arise, noted City Administrator Doug Morgan who indicated that area businesses and residents have been alerted.
