Due to the increased COVID-19 positivity rate in the community, Washington County Hospital and Clinics announced visitor restrictions on Nov. 23 which became effective immediately.
Visitors are no longer allowed into the hospital facility except for when deemed necessary by a provider during end-of-life situations.
The WCHC clinics, emergency department and outpatient services will also enforce strict visitor restrictions, limiting patients to only one caregiver or support person when necessary. It is advised that patients attend appointments without a support person. Only children scheduled to see a clinic provider will be allowed into the clinic facilities; no siblings of any age will be permitted. Patients and support persons are required to wear masks. Support persons with any COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed entry.
The Pillars Gift Shop is also closed.
