The 13th Annual Wildwood Bluegrass and Gospel Music Festival, presented by Emil Ropp and the McPunk Brothers, is set for July 9, 10 and 11 at the Wildwood Campground, three miles southwest of Kalona.
Besides the McPunk Brothers, the festival features Special Consensus of Chicago, Illinois (Saturday only), the Great Bluegrass Herons of Iowa City (Friday and Saturday), Bluegrass Express of Stockton, Illinois (entire weekend), Bob and Sheila Everhart of Anita (entire weekend), Red Wing of Ankeny (Friday and Saturday) and Bob and Kristie Black of North English (Saturday and Sunday).
Admission is $7 for Friday, $10 for Saturday, $7 for Saturday night only, $5 for Sunday. A full weekend admission is $17. Children younger than 12 admitted free.
The campground is a fully modern facility that features hot showers, a concession stand and a natural amphitheater.
No alcoholic beverages are permitted.
Show times are Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1 and 7 p.m. and Sunday (all Gospel music), 10 a.m.
Additionally, there will be an all night jam session both Friday and Saturday.
Camp fee with electrical hookup is $6 per day.
