Andrew Shalla of Kalona, Matt McClellen of Wellman, Michael Strabala of Riverside and Rebekah Trotter of Ainsworth, are members of the 1999-2000 Hawkeye Marching Band at the University of Iowa. Shalla and McClellen are sophomores and play trumpet and saxophone, respectively. Strabala, a sophomore, plays saxophone, and Trotter, a freshman, plays mellophone.
They will perform November 16 and 17 at Hancher Auditorium for the U of I School of Music’s annual Band Extravaganza, starting at 7:30 p.m. both days.
