The Kalona Rotary Club presented the Kalona Public Library Foundation, Inc. with a check for $3,000 on Nov. 28. The funds were raised from the club’s omelet breakfast this spring ($2,700) and a matching grant from Rotary International ($700); they are designated for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which the KPL Foundation, Inc. has partnered with to bring free books to children in the 52247 zip code from birth to age five.
