The SEISC Volleyball Tournament took place on Thursday, Sept. 21, featuring four hub schools with pool play to determine who would make it to the finals on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Southeastern Community College.

In order to get to the finals, a school needed to place in the top two of their pool.

Lone Tree, ranked No. 16, played in pool one at Danville. They played No. 1 Holy Trinity Catholic, losing 2-0; No. 8 Danville, losing 2-0; and No. 9 Winfield-Mt. Union, losing 2-0.

Holy Trinity Catholic and Winfield-Mt. Union finished in the top two, moving on in the tournament.

Lone Tree now sits at 1-14. Their lone win of the season came against Louisa-Muscatine on Thursday, Aug. 31. That conference win places Lone Tree at 13 of 17 in the SEISC since Danville, Central Lee, New London, and Louisa-Muscatine have yet to win a conference matchup. All but L-M hold a higher winning percentage than Lone Tree.

Lone Tree still has more volleyball to play this season. They hosted an invitational quad on Tuesday, Sept. 26, and will host Columbus on Thursday, Sept. 28.
