The Wellman City Council met in regular session at the Wellman City Hall Council Chambers at 5:30 pm. Mayor Ryan Miller presided with the City Administrator, City Clerk and the following Council Members: Angela Stutzman, Fern Bontrager, Nathan Klostermann & Shannon McCain; Aaron Fleming was absent. The Consent Agenda was approved by McCain, seconded by Stutzman and all present voted ayes. The consent agenda includes the agenda, minutes from the previous meeting, Approval of Freeman Foods Inc. Liquor License and the following:

No one spoke in public forum.
Josh, with ION Environmental gave council an update on the water/wastewater plants and operations.
Gould indicated that we received 34 calls last month with nothing out of the ordinary.
Bontrager made a motion to approve the renewal of CD with Federation Bank for the Sr. Dining Center, Klostermann seconded and all present voted aye.
McCain made a motion to approve #7 pay app for KE Flatwork, Bontrager seconded and all present voted aye.
With no further business to be discussed Stutzman moved to adjournment at 5:56pm, Bontrager seconded and all present voted aye. The next regular City Council Meeting will be on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 5:30pm in the Council Chambers of the Wellman Municipal Building.
