Discussion and action on release – property damage claim – Circle Drive Light was had. Litwiller explained that one of the residents in Circle Drive was having a project done at their home and during this project there was a light pole that was hit and damaged. She has been in contact with the contractor of the project, the Concrete Company, and the resident. The contractor has offered to pay for half of the bid to replace the light pole, but the concrete company refuses to. This would make the city liable for covering the other half. Bontrager made a motion to accept the contractors offer, McCain seconded and all present voted ayes.
Bontrager made a motion to accept J&S Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning – Grease Trap Replacement at Goodwin Dining Center bid for $3,109.00, Stutzman seconded and all present voted ayes.
