NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO AMEND PROVISIONS OF SECTION 170.16(5)(B)
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WELLMAN, IOWA
Pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 380, the City Council of the City of Wellman, Iowa, is proposing an amendment to Section 170.16(5)(B) of the Wellman Code of Ordinances to address setbacks between properties in the city’s M-1 District and abutting properties in adjacent districts.
A public hearing on the proposed amendment shall be held at the following date, time, and location:
Date and Time for Public Hearing: 5:30 P.M. on August 7, 2023
Location of Public Hearing: City Hall, 316 8th Avenue, Wellman, Iowa 52356
At the hearing, any interested person may file written comments or present oral comments with respect to the proposed amendment.

I, the undersigned, City Clerk of the City of Wellman, Iowa, hereby certify that pursuant to resolution of its City Council fixing a date for public hearing regarding the proposed amendment of an ordinance, notice of such public hearing was published on the date and in the newspaper specified in the attached affidavit of publication, which newspaper has a general circulation in the City, and that the attached affidavit of publication is a true and complete copy of such notice.
