Parents of the couple are Lynn and Barbie Bender of Wellman and Larry and Doris Neuschwander of Albany, Oregon.A single row of embroidered lace adorned the scoop neckline and empire waist of the bride's white satin gown which featured a chapel-length train and a bodice overlaid with Shifily lace. She wore a cathedral-length veil and carried a clutch bouquet of 18 white roses.The bridegroom wore a black tuxedo with platinum vest and black bowtie. A single rose graced his lapel.

Jana Bender of Wellman was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Christina Adams, Wellman, Althea Beachy, Kalona and Rachel Slaubaugh of Red Lake, Ontario, Canada. Each carried a single white rose with greenery and wore a wine-colored floor-length gown with an empire waist and scooped neckline.Best man was David Neuschwander of Albany and Nathan Neuschwander of Springfield, Missouri, Tim Nisly of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tim Bender of Wellman were groomsmen. Ushers were Jared Miller of Kalona, Shawn Eicher of Hicksville, Ohio, Josh Graber of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Kevin Hershberger.They wore black tuxedoes with platinum vests and bowties.Mandi Swartzentruber was the bride's personal attendant and Amy Neuschwander and Lisa Hershberger sat at the guest book.Music was provided by pianist Megan Sarver, musicians Rodney Gehman and Josh Graber and vocalists Rhonda Hershberger and Kristi Helmuth.

A reception in Upper Deer Creek hosted by Bob and Linda Adams of Kalona followed the ceremony. Special guests were the couple's grandparents, Martha Bender of Kalona, Ruth Hershberger of Wellman, Jacob Regier of Baden, Ontario, Canada and Paul Neuschwander of Albany, Oregon.Mrs. Newschwander is a 1998 graduate of Pathway Christian School, Kalona and a 1999 graduate of Rosedale Bible Institute. After volunteering in Israel for a year, she is employed by Action Towing.Her husband is a 1997 graduate of Fairview Christian School and a 1999 graduate of Rosedale Bible Institute. She served in Wales for four months and now works for Premier Food Service in North English.

The couple resides in North English.
