Hillcrest went on the road to compete in the Southeast Iowa Superconference Championship cross-country meet on Oct. 5. This meet took place in Donnellson and was hosted by Centeal Lee.
The top 15 finishers earned all-conference honors.
Hillcrest's best perormance at this meet came from freshman Marie Yoder. In the girls varsity race she placed 2nd in 20:48.
On the boys side Hillcrest was led by junior Micah Gerber. He placed 23rd in 19:12 in the boys varsity race.
