Mrs. Boshart was born June 17, 1922, in Wayland, Iowa, the daughter of John S and Ada (Hirschy) Wagler. She was united in marriage to Dennis Boshart on Sept. 21, 1941. He preceded her in death in 2005.
She was a faithful member of Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and served as a Sunday School teacher, and with the church sewing ministry. She and her husband farmed southeast of Wayland, raising turkeys and livestock, and grain farming. She enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking, and entertaining her grandchildren on their many trips to stay with Grandpa and Grandma.
Survivors include sons, Wesley (Carol) Boshart, Eureka, MO., Ronald (Elizabeth) Boshart, Centennial, CO., Rodney (Mary) Boshart, West Des Moines, IA; daughter, Peggy (Ric) Milton, Goshen; eleven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Myndell (Dillon) Boshart, Ruth (Victor) Miller, Dorothy (Clarence) Wenger, all of Wayland; Ardith (Mervin) Eigsti, Lakewood, CO, MaryEllen (Einer) Stoltzfus, Kaye (Mahlon) Schweitzer, both of Kalona, IA, Verla (Merle) Conrad, Sarasota, FL; and sister-in-law, Myrtie (Earles) Wagler, Wauseon, OH.
