Special Board Meeting
Monday, April 24, 2023
5:30 p.m. – Highland Board Room
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Nate Robinson.
Roll call was taken with Josh Thomann, Mike Golden, Dan Ruth, Monica Jepson, Rachel Longbine and Nate Robinson were present. Melissa Murphy was absent. Also in attendance were Ken Crawford, Superintendent and Sue Rich, Board Secretary.
Golden made a motion to approve the agenda, as presented. Seconded by Jepson.
Motion carried 6-0
Golden made a motion to hold a closed session as provided in Section 21.5 (1) (i) of the open meetings law to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or discharge is being considered when a closed session is necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session. Seconded by Longbine. Roll Call Vote-All Ayes.
7:02 pm. Motion carried 6-0
Ruth made a motion to return to open session. Seconded by Longbine.
7:34 pm Motion carried 6-0
Longbine made a motion to adjourn at 7:35 p.m. Seconded by Jepson.
Motion carried 6-0
