The Lone Tree and Highland school districts recently received donations through the Hills Bank Classroom Cash program.
Combined, the two districts received more than $2,000. The program is funded through the use of Hills Bank debit cards by customers who designate a participating school as their Classroom Cash beneficiary.
Since the program launched back in 2004, Hills Bank has donated more than $1.6 million to participating schools across eastern Iowa. Highland has received $45,321 through the program, while Lone Tree has received $25,911.30.
In the latest round of donations, Highland received $1,353.89, and Lone Tree received $758.16.
