1. Call to Order: Ogren called the meeting to order @ 6:30 PM.

2. Roll Call: Alex Ogren, Jenni Eden, Michael Hotz, Gordon Viers, Robert Sladek-remote.

3. Approval of Agenda: Viers motioned to amend the agenda moving the 2024-2025 calendar first and the HVAC update second, Eden seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
Viers motioned to approve the agenda, Eden seconded. Motion carried 5-0.

4. Old Business
a. 2024-2025 Calendar:
i. Hanna McDowell and Kay Viner represented the calendar committee. Considerations for the 24-25 calendar: discussions on doing spring break every other year to align with the Washington DC Trip, families tend to go on vacations throughout the year regardless of having a set spring break, the start date is contingent depending on new legislation.
ii. Taylor Bell and Rylie Viers represented the student council. Considerations: early outs are important to NHS/food pantry, the tutoring program, Wellness Center kids events, students will still go on vacations regardless of spring break.
iii. The School Board discussed the 24-25 calendar. This calendar option would increase teacher professional development hours from 64 to 100 hours. Discussion on if it would be beneficial to move graduation from Memorial Day weekend to a different weekend.
b. HVAC Update: Representative from Shive Hattery discussed generator options, the benefits of moving the 2002 school edition to solar, and the process of going to bond.
c. The board reviewed the updated FY25 Wood River Energy quote with the edition of the Wellness Center.

5. New Business
a. Supt. Hotz discussed the FY25 budget and projections.
b. Summer Projects: Supt. Hotz presented the FY24 summer project totals, estimated revenues and the yearly expenses of PPEL/SAVE. The board reviewed a list of potential 2024 summer projects.
c. The board discussed the Leftover ERate Budget.
d. Board Policy: 300 Series (First Review): The board reviewed the updates to the 300 series policy.

6. March Regular Meeting Date: The Regular School Board Meeting will be held on March 27th @ 6:30 PM in the Library.

7. Future Agenda Topics
a. 2024-2025 Goals: The board will revisit the 2024-2025 goals this summer.
b. Superintendent Evaluation: tentative dates were discussed.

8. Adjourn: Viers motioned to adjourn the workshop, M. Hotz seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
